Research Assistant I/II in theSchool of Biomedical Sciences(Ref.: 533906) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess aBachelor's degreeor above in Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.They should be self-motivated, responsible andable to work independently as well as in a team.Preference will be given to those with experience and/or interest in organic synthesis, mass spectrometry, proteomics, cell biology and cancer biology.

The appointees will work on interdisciplinary projects related to:

1. Chemoproteomics-driven discovery of covalent ligands for cancer therapy

2. Development of novel chemoproteomic probes

3. Protein structure-guided medicinal chemistry

The appointees will have good opportunities to learn and perform state-of-the-art research for drug target identification and drug development, and collaborate with different teams with expertise in cancer biology.
