Job Description

The Department of Sports Science and Physical Education is looking for a Research Assistant (External Fund).

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Rehabilitation, Psychology, or any related disciplines, (ii) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (iii) good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and (iv) the ability to work independently and as a team. Having knowledge and experience in working with children with typical development or special needs in local school and/or community settings will be an advantage.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) liaising with schools, NGOs, and professional organisations (b) planning, coordinating, and organising project development and delivery events and activities systematically (c) conducting assessment in school and community settings (d) liaising with local/overseas vendors (e) analysing research data and generating reports and (f) performing other duties as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement, satisfactory performance and funding availability.
