ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an English-Chinese writer/translator to join our team full-time. This role focuses on researching, translating, and writing high-quality articles from English into Chinese, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and search visibility. You will work closely with our content and marketing team to produce articles that are informative, well-structured, and optimized for search engines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research topics and source accurate information from English-language content
- Translate and rewrite articles from English to Chinese while maintaining natural flow and context
- Create original Chinese-language articles based on English references or briefs
- Apply basic on-page SEO practices
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, tone, and consistency
- Follow content guidelines, briefs, and deadlines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent Chinese writer
- Strong English reading and comprehension skills
- Proven experience writing or translating articles from English to Chinese
- Ability to conduct independent research
- Basic to good understanding of on-page SEO
- Strong attention to detail and writing quality
- Reliable availability for full-time work
- Preferably has experience using Canva to create simple images or featured visuals for articles
