Job description
What You Will Do:
- Analyze monthly sell-in trends every week in comparison to projections, spotting deviations and making the required supply plan modifications.
- Manage a sophisticated, fast-moving product portfolio with substantial demand seasonality, high promotional volumes across several channels, and reformulations.
- Determine whether more regional sell-in opportunities are feasible within the frozen planning horizon.
- Proactively identify supply shortages compared to projections, collaborating with regional stakeholders to create workable alternatives and with global teams to reduce risks.
- Actively participate in the ongoing development of inventory-balancing and supply-planning procedures, instruments, and systems.
- Work closely with the logistics and demand planning teams to identify supply-chain constraints and forecast variations in order to minimize stock-outs and prevent the accumulation of excess or obsolete inventory.
- Make sure that products are available on schedule, and for any things that are delayed, develop strong backup plans or alternate sourcing choices.
- To incorporate new-launch considerations into the Sales & Operations Planning agenda, collaborate with the New Product Development Controller.
- To promote uniform methods of collaboration across regional and global operations, collaborate closely with the global supply planning team.
- Interact directly with business stakeholders to maximize stock-holding choices and efficiently handle extraordinary or pressing requests.
- As the company grows, maintain expert-level competence in supply planning tools and systems to support the function's continuous development (people, process, and technology).
Candidate Profile:
- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of expertise in supply chain planning scope.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical abilities are needed.
- outstanding interpersonal and written communication abilities.
- well-organized, meticulous, analytical, numerate, and capable of solving problems.
- Adaptable to new circumstances and direction changes and at ease with uncertainty.
