Role Description
Mitalgic is seeking a high-level AI & Chips Engineering Manager to serve as our primary technical and strategic representative in Taiwan. This is a unique, hybrid-authority role where you will operate at the intersection of board-level business strategy and ground-level engineering execution.
You will be responsible for the 0 to 100 lifecycle of technical partnerships—identifying key semiconductor and AI players in Taipei, brokering high-level industrial alliances, and providing the engineering oversight required to move from a conceptual build-up to full-scale infrastructure deployment. As our remote lead, you will bridge the gap between Taiwan's tech ecosystem and our global industrial projects through expert guidance and constant communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Board Collaboration: Work directly with the Board of Directors to define and execute the Mitalgic approach to AI-integrated infrastructure and hardware partnerships.
- Strategic Representation: Act as the face of Mitalgic in Taipei, attending high-stakes meetings with chip manufacturers, AI firms, and industrial partners to secure project pipelines.
- 0-100 Deployment Oversight: Manage the full technical lifecycle, including system architecture, component structuring, and site-specific hardware deployment for global projects.
- Machine Development & Innovation: Maintain a keen eye on emerging machine development trends, ensuring our industrial solutions (from silos to power plants) leverage the latest in AI-driven automation.
- Virtual Project Guidance: Lead remote technical sessions, providing expert consultation to international teams to ensure engineering standards are met throughout the project build-up.
Qualifications
- Master Engineering Expertise: A deep-rooted background in Electronic or Systems Engineering with a comprehensive understanding of every component in the AI-hardware stack.
- Industry Veteran: 10+ years of experience, with a proven track record of taking complex engineering projects from initial design (0) to full operational deployment (100).
- High-Level Communication: Ability to translate complex chip-level technicalities into business-centric value propositions for board members and external stakeholders.
- Machine Development Focus: Specialized experience in the intersection of hardware and physical machinery—understanding how AI chips can optimize heavy industrial equipment and infrastructure.
- Local Network: Strong existing relationships within the Taipei tech and engineering sectors, with the ability to navigate local business cultures and manufacturing hierarchies.
- Remote Leadership: Self-motivated and disciplined; capable of managing high-level responsibilities independently while maintaining seamless communication through virtual platforms.
