The Store Development team spearheads the company's brick and mortar growth through the acquisition, design, construction and maintenance of new stores. While helping our organization expand its footprint in APAC, we are also responsible for keeping internal stakeholders closely informed as we become a truly global company.
Whether in the office following up with ongoing negotiations or on the road in search of new locations, a lululemon Real Estate Lead can expect to deal with the following on a daily basis:
- Communicate and track critical dates for new and existing locations.
- Secure and negotiate leases while adhering to lease and financial standards within tight timelines.
- Renew and manage lease obligations within your portfolio (renewing, drafting documentation, alignment with operations and real estate market strategies).
- Provide real estate recommendations to internal partners
- Build and manage cross functional relationships with internal and external partners.
- Assist in strategic planning of bricks and mortar business growth in a rapidly evolving region
- Build relationships with key landlord partners across the region
- Financial analysis, information gathering and building presentation decks to support project approval
- 5+ yrs related real estate leasing or asset management experience.
- Strong understanding of lease language and documents.
- Strong problem solving skills and organizational skills.
- Confidence in dealing with people (internal and external) and resolving issues diplomatically.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Effective and strategic negotiation skills
