Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide leadership in quality ensuring quality systems and methods are effective, efficient, and aligned with global guidelines, criteria, and metrics.
- Manage Quality audits including scheduling, preparation, audit execution and completion of all 8D corrective actions for audit findings.
- Lead internal audit and external certification to ensure that the company's QMS conforms to customer, ISO9001, IATF16949 and regulatory / customer requirements.
- Manage responses to customer quality issues through closure of the 8D with the Customer.
- Focus on problem prevention, continuous improvement, data collection and reporting, along with customer corrective and preventative action.
- Coordinate with other internal and external organizations when necessary to resolve quality issues or improve quality systems.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance role within the Semiconductor Industry
- Strong in quality assurance concept and familiar with quality control tools; knowledge in ISO and audit/certification processes
- Possess excellent analytical thinking with problem solving and statistical analytical skills with the use of quality tools, e.g 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, SPC
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with all levels of organization.
- Good knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 will be added advantage.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
