Job Summary:
Seeking an energetic and motivated team player to join our quality team. Our team is growing and has opportunities that will provide both challenges and recognition for your successes! Quality Engineer & Document Control is our custodian of controlled documents, forms and records and the Administrator of our Change Management (MOC) system and to provide Quality Engineering support. QGT is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. Our document control and Quality Engineering infrastructure is a key element of our Quality Management System compliance to this standard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support Quality Management in the performance of quality reviews and audits
- Support key process activities including: CAPA and CAPA reporting, Metrics and metrics reporting.
- Support ISO 9001:2015 requirements for document controls
- Review and resolve quality issues with internal/external customers. Ensure timely closure of all CARs raised
- Handle non-conformance material regarding OOS and facilitate customer shipment
- Attend customer meetings as/when required
- Maintain Key Performance Indices as assigned by Management
- Maintain measure equipment calibrations system and external sources
- Organize internal and external QA training requirement
- Assist on compiling Management Review Material
- Coordinate the activity of manufacturing surveillance like traveler following and lead projects
- Lead/Support measurement tool auto upload
- Conduct manufacturing process audits to ensure manufacturing processes are in place
- Act as the substitute of QA manager
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems and tools
- Experience in or knowledge of anodizing process
- Strong knowledge and hands on work experience in secondary process qualification, lab analysis and test.
- Secondary process experience/knowledge such as anodizing, surface coating (Ni, Ag, Zn, Cr..), material conversion process (Zinc phosphate, Iron phosphate..), electro polishing, precision chemical cleaning and etc.
- Hands on experience on supplier evaluation/assessment, qualification, audit and management
- Strong passion and an aptitude for problem solving in a collaborative team environment is required
- Ability for good written and verbal communication of technical content in English is required.
- Project management skills is required.
- Hands on knowledge of problem solving methodologies (8D, 5 why's, DOE etc.) and quality engineering experience is required.
- Working knowledge of SPC programs such as Minitab is desired.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Software – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Chemical engineering or other engineering
- ASQ CQA, CQT or CQE certification preferred
Experience Requirement: Work Experience:
- 5+ years related experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry
