Your Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be at the heart of ensuring that specialty gas and thin film products meet the highest standards of quality — directly supporting customer confidence and operational excellence at our Nanke site. In this pivotal role, you will own and advance the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead internal and third-party audits. You will coordinate the full lifecycle of customer complaints and non-conformance investigations — from root cause analysis through to resolution — while applying statistical process control to monitor product quality and deliver data-driven insights. Working across functions and sites, you will serve as a key quality resource for new product qualifications and cross-site collaboration.
Quality Management
Supervise document management in compliance with ISO 9001 certification requirements, reflecting global procedures and local activities; coordinate corporate annual Quality Objectives with Management Representatives and ensure thorough stakeholder implementation. Monitor progress against the quality plan to ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule; participate in and coordinate Quality Management Review (QMR) meetings.
Lead or supervise the resolution of Complaints, Management of Change (MOC), and Non-Conformances with appropriate corrective actions. Coordinate internal audits as well as third-party audits (ISO certification bodies and customers) to maintain a feasible and effective quality system.
Operation Quality
Coordinate regular and urgent Discrepancy Review Board (DRB) reviews; execute statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC), including control limit reviews and out-of-control/out-of-trend (OOC/OOT) investigations. Manage quality data as SAP/LIMS/Labware system power user; utilize data analysis tools (Excel, NWQA, Minitab, Tableau) for SPC/DRB activities; prepare quarterly SQC reports for customers where defined. Serve as coordinator for Customer Surveys, Requests, Complaints, Product Change Notifications (PCN), and Non-Conformance events; act as Data Coordinator for Product Traceability and key customer offerings.
Quality Activities – for Nanke SiteSupport
Site Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives including quality circles (QCC/TCIA); serve as quality training coordinator and trainer; organize quality stand-down days and mock recall activities.
Support Integrated Quality Plan (IQP) data preparation and review in collaboration with Materials Management and Project Managers for Global Change Board (GCB) review. Maintain site quality communications including Q News, monthly site meetings, and KPI updates.
Quality Mindset & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Demonstrate curiosity and customer focus by actively listening to the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and developing a deep understanding of business and manufacturing interactions, quality systems, processes, and procedures.
Act with ownership and accountability: proactively support the manager, raise risks early, and take initiative in task execution.
Support new product implementation and promotion to customer sites, as well as new business opportunity data packages; address customer application issues through quality control, process data review, and problem-solving.

Who You Are
Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.5+ years of experience in a quality role within the chemical or semiconductor industry.
Strong command of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.Skilled in structured problem-solving methodologies such as root cause analysis, 8D, and 5-Why, and are familiar with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and control plans.
Hands-on experience with statistical process control (SPC) and statistical quality control (SQC) methods, and are proficient in data analysis tools such as Minitab or equivalent.
Experienced in enterprise systems such as SAP and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to manage quality data and support product traceability.
Proficiency in English — both in writing and verbally — and engage effectively with customers, cross-functional teams, and external auditors.
