【Job Overview】

As part of the Procurement team at SHL, this role is responsible for managing sourcing activities with a strong focus on machined parts. While covering procurement responsibilities such as supplier management, sourcing strategy, and cost control, the role also requires solid technical understanding of machining processes to effectively evaluate suppliers, negotiate, and drive continuous improvement.

【Key Responsibilities】

.Follow all applicable SOPs, WIs, and adhere to GMP principles at all times.

.Manage sourcing activities for machined parts, including RFQs, quotation comparison, negotiation, and preliminary technical/process evaluation.

.Develop, evaluate, and continuously improve machining suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery performance.

.Represent the Voice of the Supplier within SCP, supply chain, and cross-functional teams. .Issue purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve supply or delivery exceptions.

.Negotiate optimal commercial terms (price, discount, lead time, payment terms) with suppliers.

.Assess cost structure and price reasonableness of machined components; drive cost-saving and optimization initiatives.

.Work on sourcing strategies including market analysis, supplier evaluation, and spend analysis for assigned categories.

.Collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer and product requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

.Proactively identify issues, provide insights, and seek guidance from senior team members when needed. .Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

【Qualifications】

.1–3 years of experience in machined parts procurement or relevant manufacturing environment.

.Ability to read and understand 2D & 3D engineering drawings.

.Basic knowledge of machining processes, including turning, milling, sheet metal, heat treatment, and surface finishing.

.Understanding of machining cost structure and pricing logic.

.Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cross-functional communication skills.

.Experience in supplier development, process improvement, or manufacturing-related projects is a plus.

.Willingness to learn and grow in both technical and procurement capabilities
