Project Officer (at the rank of Clerk II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 534668) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Five passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum Grade C in Syllabus A / Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007), and Mathematics OR a minimum of Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics, with at least five years relevant work experience OR a Bachelor's degree with at least two years relevant work experience
- A strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Mature, persuasive, personable, open-minded, and articulate
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Provide logistical and on-site support for Faculty-wide events, ceremonies, student engagement programmes, and community initiatives
- Coordinate and administer student development, wellness, and enrichment programmes
- Assist in the promotion and execution of student activities, including drafting publicity materials and managing online registration
- Support Faculty-level student services and maintain regular communication with students, student leaders, and student societies
- Support the administration and coordination of the student exchange programme, including liaison with students, partner institutions, and relevant internal units
- Serve as a key liaison with internal departments and external partners on student-related matters
- Manage administrative operations, including documentation, data management, reporting, and record-keeping for the team
- Monitor budgets, process reimbursements, and provide finance-related support for the team
- Supervise student helpers and provide on-site coordination during events
- Provide support in HR-related and general administrative matters as assigned by the Team Head
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
