The objective of this newly created role is to provide project management services and leadership relating to all aspects of the planning, execution and reporting of Winbro Group Technologies projects including capital equipment supply, technical upgrades and NPI.
Role and responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point both internally and externally for all aspects of project planning, execution and reporting.
- Interface directly with customers as a single point of contact for all project related matters.
- Standardized communication plan to collate info internally and present to customer, including internal schedule meetings.
- Work directly with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Forecast Demand Management, Service, Finance, Quality) to define and deliver programs of work.
- Create and maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems and liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Ensure that effective communications are maintained between functions within the organization (Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Forecast Demand Management, Service, Finance, Quality).
- Manage project timing, risk, cost and performance against agreed targets/budgets.
- Determine and define sales order book inputs.
- Create and maintain sales orders in the ERP system.
- Prepare project reports including the collecting and analysing of data and the summarizing of information and actions.
- Determine and manage import/export requirements ensuring compliance whilst minimizing costs.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a technical discipline plus a formal project management qualification.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Proficient in the use of all MS Office 365, experience of D365 would be beneficial.
- 5+ years experience of direct customer liaison in a technical and commercial project management environment.
- Experience of reading and interpreting engineering assembly drawings and familiar working with complex multi-level BoMs and supply chains.
