Job Description

Teradyne Solution Engineering Group (SEG)s Program Management Office (PMO) is hiring a Project Manager for the Taiwan field office. This position is to provide project management guidance and oversight for Semiconductor ATE applications test solution projects defined for global customers. The following are the key roles and responsibilities:

Manage the complex cross-functional integration for strategic project that involves:

o Teradyne and the key customers,

o Project engineering and global applications field teams,

o Multiple worldwide regions (Asia, Europe and North America).

Ensuring project management best practice and process are applied.

Conducting project reviews:

o Ensuring project execution meets expectations and gaps are resolved in a timely manner.

o Ensure appropriate communication is taking place at all levels in the organization and between project groups including the customer and vendor/partners.

o Ensure cross-functional & regional integration issues are getting resolved.

Synthesize project progress and communicate status to key stakeholders, Teradyne senior management team and Teradyne's customer.

Identify when issues need to be escalated and manage those issues to closure.

Partner with regional managers and project leads to identify and ensure closure on resource & skill gaps.

Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Mandarin

BS Degree or above in Electrical/Electronic, Computer or Mechanical Engineering.

>8 years project management experience in integrated software and hardware products/projects within the R&D or Applications engineering environment.

Good organizational and communication skills including the ability to foster communication between project groups including the customer.

Prior experience in managing project teams located in multiple geographic locations.

Project Management Professional with PMP certification.

Experience in developing and standardizing project management processes.

Background experience in the ATE industry is an advantage.
