The Project Management Lead will be responsible for developing detailed project charters and plans, specifying goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use case, test case, and training needs as necessary for all project assignments. In addition, the Project Manager will produce project roll up and reporting across all work streams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand Asurion's product design for the program and be able to respond to stakeholders questions
- Facilitate communications across functions to well understand business requirement and project goal
- Develop and document detailed project plans for business implementation and operational execution
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and be able to present to stakeholders
- Support to estimate budgets and track cost of projects and be able to understand the insight of them
- Ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget, monitor/track the project scope changes
- Uncover the potential issues and risks and be able to provide preemptive actions/plans
- Effectively communicate timely status and progress to all team members, stakeholders, and management through project metrics
- Ensure that all project deliverables are consistent with Asurion technical architecture and standards
- Organize and conduct SIT/UAT/BST plans and support training materials/courses
- Proactively identify areas of process improvement and take lead for process/operation improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years in managing projects and related project management experience, preferably in digital/online service GTM program launches and/or IT projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that established rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
- Strong and solid project management, organizational, and time-management skills with ability to multi-task and manage projects in a cross functional environment.
- Superior problem solving, communication and negotiation skills including effective leadership, planning and motivational capabilities.
- PMP certification is a plus
- Understand SQL Query/Relational database design concept, software/technology language, system infrastructure/enterprise security knowledge is a plus
