As one of the key logistic technology providers in Taiwan, Uber Direct not only enables merchants to unlock last mile delivery for their customers through their own app or website marketplaces, we also enable logistic businesses to enjoy a strong and resilient last mile supply. We are currently building an exciting team to grow our Uber Direct Logistic business, including the mid to last mile and warehouse operations, and we need people like you to bring the best experience to our merchant partners!

As the Logistic Strategy & Project Manager, your key focus is the strategic growth and scaling of the Direct Logistic Business by driving the expansion of mid-mile transportation, last-mile fleet, and micro-hubs. You will ensure a robust OKR framework for the Logistics vertical and align project launch timelines with Uber Direct's merchant-agreed expansion goals, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role requires close collaboration with the onsite operations team, fleet vendors, and diverse cross-functional stakeholders to meet expansion demands, specifically working with Sales and Account Managers within Uber Direct to define expansion needs and jointly establish monthly milestones with the Logistics project squad.

【Candidate Profile】

  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in strategy operations, project management,

product management, consulting, or a related role, preferably in fast-paced corporate environments. Experience in the logistic industry, warehouse management, and fleet management is a plus.

  • Data Analytics: Expertise in analyzing data to uncover actionable insights and recommendations that support commercial strategies and merchant engagements.
  • Communication: Ability to present complex information clearly to senior leaders and engagingly to diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholders Management: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively engaging the team and diverse stakeholders (e.g., commercial teams), understanding perspectives, and building positive relationships to ensure alignment and meet merchant needs.
  • Innovation: Experience in proposing innovative solutions to address complex problems and executing end-to-end project proposals.
  • Language Fluency: Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin for effective communication and influence.

【Responsibilities】

  • Project Management and Cross-Functional Leadership: This role will lead the Logistics PMO management, responsible for driving and managing the overall timeline for all logistics initiatives. This involves rigorous collaboration and enablement across Delivery Solution, Network Operations, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment on Product, Process, and Recruitment aspects to successfully execute logistics projects.
  • Strategic Planning and Performance Management: The role is critical in defining the long-term logistics growth strategy and planning for the organization. This strategic oversight is paired with accountability for performance, which includes setting and monitoring Logistics OKRs and the P&L. A key component is providing logistics data insights and analytics, with a specific focus on optimizing Cost per Trip (CpT) and overall operations efficiency.
  • New Capability and Model Deployment: A core responsibility is overseeing the enablement and introduction of significant new logistics capabilities. This encompasses deploying complex models such as Mid-mile and Distribution Centers (DCs), establishing new Logistics Customer Service models, and integrating essential value-added services (e.g., cash on delivery, returns, scheduled delivery). It also involves assessing the long-term future of logistics, including potential M&A and new organizational structures.
  • Future Logistics and Fleet Product Development: This scope focuses on the evolution and design of future logistics products and infrastructure. This includes designing future Fleet and DC product capabilities, such as warehouse model design, and developing a non-logistic fleet strategy. The role requires a forward-looking perspective to assess and deploy innovative models that will shape the future of Direct logistics operations.
