Project Co-ordinator II
The Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) is a multifaceted unit overseeing undergraduate admissions, scholarships, and financial aid, and play a strategic role in advancing the University's admissions goals. OAFA is looking for energetic, highly motivated, and independent candidates who are passionate about striving for excellence in admissions work and committed to attracting diverse, high-calibre students from Hong Kong and beyond. The appointee will primarily work with the admission team focusing on the local landscape, and will be responsible for co-ordinating and implementing outreach, marketing, and communication initiatives to engage prospective secondary school students and other stakeholders through a wide range of offline and online channels. Duties include (a) planning, organising and executing outreach activities, including delivering presentations to students, parents and educators (b) leading the operation, co-ordination, and ongoing development of the Student Ambassador Scheme (c) creating content and managing marketing and communication initiatives, including digital campaigns, the website, social media platforms, and publicity materials (d) supporting the development and implementation of promotional and outreach strategies through close collaboration with internal units and external partners and (e) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisors. He/She may be required to work irregular hours to support outreach and recruitment activities.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in student engagement, outreach, marketing, communications, event management or project management (iii) an effective command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) (iv) strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills (v) the ability to work under pressure, attend to detail, and manage multiple projects independently and as a team player (vi) proficiency in graphic design or content creation tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.). Demonstrated creativity and flexibility, together with experience in co-ordinating communications and events with multiple stakeholders and deadlines, and experience in website management, video production, digital marketing, or supervising student helpers/ ambassadors, will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
