Project Co-ordinator II
The Department of Electronic Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is looking for a candidate to take up the position of Project Co-ordinator II in the Programme Office.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative support to academic programmes (e.g. admission, promotion, curriculum, course timetabling, scholarships, student matters, etc.) (b) organising various departmental activities (c) maintaining the website and social media platforms (d) compiling proposals, reports and drafting correspondences (e) performing general liaison work and providing committee service and (f) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector (iii) proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (iv) effective and mature interpersonal and communication skills (v) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and photo editing software (such as Photoshop) (vi) a strong sense of responsibility with work integrity and good team spirit (vii) the ability to multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision, under pressure and tight deadlines and (viii) excellent analytical and organisational skills with attentiveness to details. Having knowledge of undergraduate programme administration and/or multimedia design software is preferred. Prior work experience in handling social media platforms will be an advantage. Immediate availability will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
