Project Co-ordinator II

The BSc in Global Economics and Finance programme, offered jointly by the Department of Economics and the Department of Finance, is looking for a candidate to take up the position of Project Co-ordinator II.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and secretarial support to the programme, and maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders (b) handling administrative and student matters, from admissions, student activities, and student learning affairs etc. (c) liaising with the University's internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations (d) assisting in office administration and daily operations of the General Office and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education institutions settings (iii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing skill (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably with proficiency in Putonghua) (v) good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation and (vi) the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
