Project Co-ordinator II

The appointee will be engaged in undergraduate student recruitment, and will be responsible for (a) assisting in the development and operational management of outreach and student recruitment activities (b) handling applications and student admissions matters (c) representing the University at education fairs and other admission events (d) establishing and maintaining networks with secondary schools, media and other stakeholders and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Irregular working hours will be required.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 4 years relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector (iii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua) (iv) strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills (v) a sense of responsibility and self-motivation and (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member. Having experience in organising student recruitment activities will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
