Project Co-ordinator IIThe appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and secretarial support to a postgraduate programme, including handling of admission and registration, course planning, class scheduling and timetabling, curriculum revisions, examination, etc. (b) organising academic and student activities (c) liaising with the University's internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations (d) assisting in office administration (e) handling the daily operation of the General Office and (f) performing other duties as assigned. Working beyond normal office hours or at weekends will be required occasionally.Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 2 years post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably in postgraduate programme administration (iii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (v) good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation and (vi) the ability to work independently.Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.The University only accepts and considers applications submitted online for the post above via the CUHK career site.
