Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of Assistant Manager, Student Services)
CUHK's Co-operative Education Programme (Co-op@CUHK) is an innovative education programme to strengthen undergraduate students commercial acumen and essential skill-sets by combining classroom-based education with practical work experience.

The Office of Co-operative Education Programme is looking for a strong candidate in Student Services Team to provide support for student outreach and academic matters. Duties include (a) driving student recruitment initiatives and supporting the overall admission exercise (b) drafting promotional and communication materials, including event posters as well as website/social media content, and overseeing the production of student brochure (c) handling academic matters including but not limited to timetabling, course pre-assignment as well as evaluation, and providing advice on students study plan (d) organising credit bearing experiential learning initiatives such as workshops and field trips (e) liaising with internal and external stakeholders for programme events and course management (f) performing general office administrative duties such as the preparation of correspondence, accounting procedures, records maintenance, logistical arrangements and office operations and (g) undertaking other duties as assigned. Working at flexible hours and occasional travel may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree (ii) at least 3 years post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education institutions (iii) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) as well as competency in Computer/IT applications (iv) strong communication and analytical skills, a strong sense of responsibility and a committed work attitude (v) strong organisational skill (vi) self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as a team member, under pressure and multi-task within tight deadlines and (vii) experience in event management and project support.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to strong performance and mutual agreement.
