Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of Executive, Corporate Communications)
The Communications and Public Relations Office is seeking high-calibre professionals to join the team as Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of Executive, Corporate Communications). This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about communications and public relations to gain valuable exposure across diverse areas, including media management, project coordination, strategic content creation and issue management. The role offers a unique chance to develop expertise in planning and executing press events, managing corporate messaging and fostering strong relationships with the media. The appointee will play a key role in supporting the University's strategic communication objectives, and be responsible for (a) project co-ordination: planning and executing press events to enhance the University's visibility and reputation (b) media relations: handling media enquiries and sensitive issues to ensure effective communication (c) media management: building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, and supporting media management at events (d) content creation: producing and publishing high-quality publicity materials, including bilingual press releases, key messages, line-to-take, and e-newsletters and (e) performing other tasks as assigned to support the overall communications strategy.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications or Journalism (ii) at least 5 years public relations or corporate communications work experience, preferably in large corporations, public relations agencies or media organisations (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese) (iv) a positive work attitude, and excellent organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills and (v) good analytical and time management skills. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
