Project Assistant II
Lee Woo Sing College, established in 2007, is a technologically advanced college with a beautiful view and accommodating around 1,500 students, 600 of which are residential. The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting with College advancement and development initiatives (b) providing support for the College's marketing and publicity efforts, including social media, as well as video production and editing (c) assisting in organising College events, programmes, and student activities and (d) handling other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have/be (i) completed secondary education (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English) Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects (iii) fast and accurate English and Chinese word-processing skill (iv) strong proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua) (v) skilled in IT applications, social media operations, and graphic design (vi) good organisational and communication abilities and (vii) the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Having relevant experience in event management, marketing and publicity, or advanced social media knowledge is an asset. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written and skills tests.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
