Successful candidate will perform undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in social work and counselling courses, develop relevant curriculum and new programmes, supervise students on research/practice-related projects, and manage student activities and academic programmes. S/he will participate in interdisciplinary projects, contribute to departmental administration and knowledge transfer, work collegially with other CityU members, and represent the department in the public sphere.
Candidates should be a master degree holder, a registered social worker, and a distinguished and prominent social work professional who have demonstrated expertise and excellence in the practice over 15 years as well as leadership in their own field of practice, with significant contribution to the social work profession as well as commitment to professional social work education. Candidates with a doctorate/PhD degree will be an asset for consideration. Good command of English and Chinese and good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders are required.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental schemes.
