Job Description

Job Title: Mill/Production Planner Diapers Business

Location: Taiwan

Employment Type: Independant Contractor

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mill/Production Planner to manage production schedules, raw material orders, and deployment movements for our diapers business. This role works closely with production sites to ensure schedules are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with customer service goals. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules that optimize machine utilization, materials, and storage capacity.
  • Issue raw material orders to vendors to ensure timely availability for production.
  • Ensure purchased finished goods from external vendors meet customer service objectives.
  • Coordinate the transfer of finished products from production sites to mixing centers to satisfy customer demand.
  • Execute tactical changes (04 weeks) for production, raw materials, and product deployment.
  • Maintain accurate planning information in SAP, updating schedules as needed based on material or product changes.
  • Lead or support special projects related to supply chain and production planning.
  • Provide on-call support for production sites as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Operations at a site or staff level.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP systems) for planning and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize resources, analyze alternatives, and make effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build trust across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing production environments.
  • Knowledge of planning methodologies such as MRP, S&OP, or inventory optimization.
  • Familiarity with production efficiency metrics, KPIs, and cost management.
