Production Manager
Location
Asia based Preferred Taiwan or Vietnam Remote with supplier or office visits as required

Role Overview
We are looking for a Production Manager based in Asia to lead our factory relationships and production execution across key suppliers. This role sits at the center of product development, production timelines and quality, and connects factories with our Vancouver and customer facing teams.
You will translate product designs and specifications into manufacturable outcomes while balancing quality, cost and delivery. The ideal candidate has deep experience working directly with factories, strong Mandarin communication and a track record of reliable execution in a fast moving environment.
What You Will Do
Own assigned products from development through mass production
Coordinate production timelines, sample reviews and approvals with overseas factories
Communicate production requirements, revisions and schedules in Mandarin and English
Lead factory onboarding and keep ongoing production aligned with Rove standards
Track production status across suppliers and provide clear, regular updates to Vancouver based teams
Ensure baseline quality standards are documented, understood and followed at the factory level
Review samples and early production runs, flag issues early and drive corrective actions with suppliers
Support investigation of product or claims issues to identify root causes and prevent repeat problems
Work with sourcing to support smart supplier decisions that protect both quality and accessible pricing
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, sample approvals, testing and quality checks
Identify bottlenecks or risks in the production process and recommend practical solutions
What You Will Need
Five or more years in production management or product development in furniture or related consumer goods
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and construction methods
Fluent Mandarin, spoken and written, with direct experience working with overseas factories
Strong English communication skills to work with Vancouver based teams
Strong organizational skills and reliable follow through on open items and deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and keep stakeholders aligned
Comfort using spreadsheets, shared documents and basic project tracking tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with factories in Taiwan, Vietnam or other Asia Pacific regions
Familiarity with quality inspections, testing processes and production documentation
Experience in a fast moving or growth stage environment
Reputation as a reliable executor who does what they say they will do
