The Product Manager supports the development of robotic system by ensuring the product is robust, manufacturable, cost-effective, and ready for customer deployment. This role bridges hardware design, software platform, manufacturing partners, and field teams to transform prototype into a scalable commercial product. In addition, this role plays a critical function in understanding market needs, customer use cases, and industry trends to define clear product requirements and shape the long-term product roadmap. 1.Product Strategy & Market-Driven Definition . Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify unmet needs and opportunities in robotic applications . Translate customer pain points, operational scenarios, and business objectives into clear product requirements and specifications . Define product positioning, value proposition, and feature prioritisation aligned with commercial strategy . Drive the development and evolution of the product roadmap based on market feedback and strategic direction 2.Product Industrialisation . Translate prototype designs into production-ready specifications . Drive DFM/DFA reviews with design engineers and manufacturers . Drive software platform integration . Define assembly processes and quality checkpoints 3.Testing & Validation . Plan and execute reliability, stress, and functional testing . Validate sensor performance . Conduct field tests at customer sites and analyse results 4.Manufacturing & Supplier Support . Work with factories and suppliers to resolve production issues . Review BOM, materials, tolerances, and cost optimisation opportunities . Support pilot build, EVT/DVT/PVT stages, and production ramp-up 5.Quality & Issue Resolution . Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for hardware/software platform-related issues . Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions . Improve product reliability for industrial/commercial environments 6.Software Platform Management & Integration . Manage development iterations of software platform modules, API services, data pipelines, and application layers. . Oversee interfaces and integration with third-party hardware and system integrators. . Translate business/commercial requirements into executable technical plans. 7.Product Certification & Compliance . Drive and coordinate certification activities required for commercial deployment and relevant robotic safety standards. . Prepare technical documentation, test reports, risk assessments, and compliance evidence needed for certification bodies. . Ensure product design adheres to safety, regulatory, and functional standards throughout the development lifecycle. . Liaise with external test labs, certification agencies, and internal engineering teams to ensure timely compliance.
