Phi Zoyi Capital is looking for interns to join its investment team based in Taipei.
Phi Zoyi is a leading private equity fund uniquely positioned to focus on global investment opportunities within the automotive, semiconductor, and other high-tech sectors by drawing upon talent from various backgrounds that range from investment banking and management consulting to semiconductor and automotive companies. The funds investors include leading high-tech and automotive enterprises within the Asia Pacific region and financial institutional investors.
Primary responsibilities:
- Screen and evaluate deal opportunities by conducting in-depth investment analysis, including industry & company research, valuation analysis, and financial modeling
- Prepare investment memo materials and participate in deal discussions
- Liaise with third-party advisors (e.g., lawyers and accountants) in the due diligence process
- Execute transaction documentation
- Monitor and manage post-investment performance of portfolio companies
A preferred candidate should have the following traits:
- In the final year of university or graduate school
- Relevant internships or working experience in private equity/venture capital, corporate investment, investment banking, management consulting, or other investment/strategic roles preferred
- Ability to conduct in-depth industry/market and business research
- Basic understanding of high-tech and automotive industries, supply chain, and competitive landscape
- Financial modeling skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Self-driven with a positive learning attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient English conversation and writing ability
- Able to work 2.5 days a week, and join for at least 6 months
