Role Overview
This role works closely with cross-functional teams where it is critical to understand Coupang's marketing opportunities, formulate cross-functional plans, lead implementation and program-manage initiatives. This requires a deep understanding on a mixture of technical topics like tracking/attribution/user experience and business topics like margins, customers cohorts and category specific nuances.
This role is inherently ambiguous and requires a high degree of adaptability, strategic thinking, and leadership without direct authority.
What You Will Do
- Program Leadership: Identify, define, and launch complex, multi-functional marketing programs to achieve ambitious business goals for the Taiwan marketing team. Examples include customer experience improvements e.g. conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with and influence various stakeholdersincluding Product, Engineering, BA and Marketingto secure buy-in and resources necessary for program execution.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Deep dive into large, complex datasets to identify performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities within marketing channels e.g. Meta, Google, Affiliates and others. Use these insights to inform program strategy, prioritization, and executive reporting.
- Execution & Timeline Management: Own the end-to-end management of program schedules, progress, and risks. Drive teams toward demanding, non-negotiable deadlines, ensuring objectives are clearly communicated and achieved on time.
- Process Scaling & Documentation: Design and implement scalable, automated solutions (or robust Standard Operating Procedures, where necessary) for managing new programs and ensuring long-term operational excellence across functions.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Define clear success metrics, develop mechanisms for tracking program performance, and clearly communicate progress, results, and critical challenges to senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of program management experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Innovative thinking, with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Experience in the e-commerce industry a plus
