Power Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop power supply solutions for server, networking, or industrial applications
• Perform power topology design (AC-DC / DC-DC) and detailed circuit analysis
• Select components and evaluate power efficiency, thermal performance, and reliability
• Prepare design documentation, test specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, validation, PM) to accelerate product development

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
• Solid knowledge of power electronics and common topologies such as Buck, Boost, LLC
• Familiar with analog/digital circuits and magnetic component design
• Proficient with power design and analysis tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, Mathcad)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on design and validation

Nice to Have

• Experience in high-power supply design for servers, data centers, or telecom systems
• Knowledge of industry standards (Intel VR, ATX, ETSI, UL, IEC, Energy Star, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with digital power design using FPGA/MCU controllers
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing and mitigation techniques
• Team player with strong communication skills and good command of written and spoken English
