The School of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Medicine in CUHK is seeking an outstanding candidate to join Prof. Yin Ting Cheung%27s Research Team as Postdoctoral Fellow, to support a project approved by the Chinese Medicine Development Fund (CMDF).
Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in a healthcare-related or scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Chinese Medicine, Health Sciences) (ii) proven ability to work independently and excellent organizational skills (iii) strong communication skills, with fluency in written and verbal Cantonese and English and (iv) strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS/PASW, STATA, or SAS), literature review and excellent writing skills for manuscript preparation. Candidate with the following working experiences is preferred: (1) experience in conducting studies involving artificial intelligence and computing skills (2) previous experience in project management or leadership roles and (3) experience in implementation science.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) leading research project logistics and developing educational materials for patients, including purchasing equipment/materials, setting up study sites, monitoring research progress, and organising meetings and training sessions (b) overseeing fieldwork and overseeing research projects at various study sites (c) ensuring the timely, accurate, and complete collection, entry, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation of data (d) mentoring Junior Research Assistants and students on research activities and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong, formally established in 1963 by a charter granted by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. It is the territory's second-oldest university and was founded as a federation of three existing colleges – Chung Chi College, New Asia College and United College – the oldest of which was founded in 1949.
