In Asia-Pacific, Crdit Agricole CIB has a local presence in nine markets: Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia and India. Leveraging this regional set-up and its global network, the Bank offers a comprehensive range of financial solutions and services supporting its clients thanks to its ESG and sectorial experts and all its business lines: Global Markets Division, Coverage and Investment banking, Energy and Real Asset financing, Corporate and Leverage Finance and International Trade & Transaction Banking.

You will join Crdit Agricole CIB Hong Kong andGlobal Market Division Asia Research teamin charge of macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis.

Your concrete missions will be the following

• Closely tracking macro policies, political and geopolitical development globally and gathering information from a broad range of sources
• Making use of statistical analysis to objectively assess and critically evaluate information and develop compelling macro and geopolitical analysis
• Assisting with macro forecasting and risk assessment, including scenario analysis of future developments
• Communicating findings in a professional and concise manner with visualisations

To be eligible for a VIE:

• Be less than 28 years old
• Be postgraduate of a Master degree
• Be EU citizen

You are postgraduate of aUniversity, Business schoolwith a specialization in preferably Politics, social science, international relations

Previous experience in a related geopolitical analytical role in international research, consulting, government, NGO or think tank would be an advantage

Hard Skills:

• Excellent writing and communication skills (in English, and French)
• Strong numerical skills to collect data and conduct data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools

Soft Skills:

• Deep interests and understanding of global political landscape with a good knowledge of the US politics
• Strong team player
• Self-driven and fast learner
• Able to meet tight deadlines
