Position Overview
This role serves as the core management position of the robotics plant, responsible for overseeing daily operations while continuously driving technical learning, process innovation, and production efficiency improvements. The role requires strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills to lead the team in achieving operational and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Learning & Innovation
- Collaborate closely with the groups technology platform in the initial phase to gain in-depth knowledge of robotics technologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest robotics technologies and market applications.
- Plan and establish factory processes, driving new technology adoption and ongoing optimization.
2. Factory Operations Management
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and shop-floor operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
- Plan and optimize resource allocation to improve productivity and control costs effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate production units to ensure operational targets are achieved.
3. Quality & Equipment Management
- Strengthen quality control systems to improve product yield and customer satisfaction.
- Establish equipment maintenance and troubleshooting mechanisms to ensure stable production lines.
- Plan equipment upgrades and the introduction of new systems to enhance manufacturing capability.
4. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and develop production and technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
- Implement performance evaluation and incentive systems to boost morale and team performance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with R&D, sales, and quality teams to drive new product ramp-up and mass production.
- Provide regular reports to the General Manager and senior leadership on plant performance and technology progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields; intermediate English proficiency required.
- At least 58 years of experience in factory management or equipment production.
- Strong knowledge of robotics assembly/testing, intelligent robotics, industrial automation, or equipment management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive learning mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with proven cross-functional communication capabilities.
- Strong focus on quality management and process optimization with execution excellence.
- Ability to perform under pressure and embrace challenges in a fast-changing industry environment.
