ROLE DESCRIPTION
Responsible for continually driving strategy, new products and revenue and growth of the Partnership & Media division focusing on Taiwan business. Key areas of focus included but are not limited to:
- Strategy: helping design and defining our marketing approach
- Product development: Creation of new business ideas and projects to sell to market
- New business development and Sales Generation: Helping develop, generate and secure new client business and to deliver and exceed income targets set by management (focus on Live Nation Taiwan's domestic, international shows and venue)
- Other: Creation of marketing colleterial, proposals and presentations.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Strategy
- Analyze local and regional market trends and insights
- Understand music partnership business in Taiwan, related to concerts, venues and festivals in order to define market approach and strategy
- Design growth strategies
- Provide updated revenue growth forecasts for the business
Product and services development
- Research and keep abreast of trends in the marketplaces
- Drive internal brainstorm sessions and develop new product ideas or services to pitch for clients
- Develop pricing strategies and revenue models
New Business development and sales Generation
- Prospect and develop new accounts through various strategies including and not limited to: networking, emails, LinkedIn, cold calling, corporate events for Live Nation Taiwan's domestic and international shows
- Identify and reach out to new potential sponsors for live entertainment, and create customized, creative sponsorship proposals that reflect an understanding of the client's business and the music industry
- Actively maintain relationships with any current sponsors, industry contacts or future sponsorship prospects
- Manage partnership pipeline from imputing leads to negotiating and closing deals
- Meeting and exceed sales targets
Others
- Regular contract with Partnership & Media, Asia colleagues to build partnership strategy and revenue
- Work on business opportunities to promote the Company in the market
- Compose clear, concise, and visually engaging marketing proposals and sales collateral for potential partners, including copywriting, deck design, and sourcing visuals
- Preparation of weekly pipeline reports
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- 10+ years of demonstrated success in a sponsorship/media sales, strategy and/or sponsorship marketing role (or similar field)
- Understanding of partnership and media business and music
- Strong sales ability and new business skills and networking
- Excellent client interpersonal skills, presentation skills and confidence in leading conversations
- Creative problem solving and experienced negotiating skills
- An energetic self-starter that works best under minimal direction
- Passion for music and live entertainment
- Fluent written and verbal English and Mandarin
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools for presentations, reporting, and data analysis
