| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
(e)
| To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
(a)
| A recognised degree in Information Technology, Computing, Engineering, Network Technology, or relevant discipline, or equivalent |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience |
| (c) | Strong communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese |
| (d) | A good team player and able to work independently and work under pressure |
(e)
| Experience in curriculum and training materials development and instructional design and/or proven records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industry experience would be an advantage and |
(f)
| Knowledge and solid experience in some of the followings: Computer Networking, Web Security, System Security, Network Security and Administration (Firewall, Router, Switch, IDS/IPS), Penetration Testing/Ethical Hacking. |

| Notes: |
(1)
| Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (2) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3)
| The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned. |
| (4) | Valid documentary evidence must be provided for the relevant teaching / industrial experience. |
| (5) | Proven records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an added advantage. |
