| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A relevant recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and / or industry experience in the areas as mentioned above |
| (c) | Good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: |
| (i) | Computer networks - TCP/IP, LAN, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, Firewalls, hands-on experience with hardware (routers, switches), and holder of CCNP / CCNA is highly preferred |
| (ii) | Software engineering concepts, implementation and coding with JAVA, Python, or website backend development |
| (iii) | AI, IoT or big data application development, and / or application development on cloud and |
| (d) | Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (2) | Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
