| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties including supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials and |
| (d) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A recognised degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience |
| (c) | Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese |
| (d) | Good records of connection with the industry or professional bodies will be an added advantage and |
| (e) | Preferred Qualifications (Putonghua Proficiency): |
| (i) | Native Putonghua speaker or |
| (ii) | Hold a bachelor's degree or higher where the medium of instruction was Mandarin or |
| (iii) | Have at least 3 years of work experience in mainland China or other Putonghua-speaking countries / regions or |
| (iv) | Have passed the Putonghua Proficiency Test with a score of at least Level 3B () or above. |

| Notes: |
| (1) | Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
| (4) | The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
