Job Description

KeyResponsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operations across multiple construction and engineering projects.
  • Lead and supervise Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Coordinators, and operational personnel.
  • Manage and optimize deployment of manpower, equipment, vehicles, and resources across project sites.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, quality standards, and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between clients and internal project teams.
  • Analyse operational and risk management data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess and implement workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage operational risks, safety performance, and corrective actions.
  • Resolve project-related issues, operational challenges, and client concerns in a timely manner.
  • Review manpower utilization, operational costs, and project performance to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee staff training, development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to company growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience overseeing multiple projects and large-scale operations.
  • Proven experience managing a workforce of more than 50 employees.
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and construction industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and resource management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel applications.
