Officer, Airport Operations Facilitation

Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting and analysing operational data to evaluate the performance of various aspects of airport operations and forecast relevant operational trends

• Assess the demand and capacity of airport facilities and develop operational requirements for input into airport development projects

• Support the development of simulation models for passenger flows, vehicle flows and other aspects of airport operations

• Assist in assessing passenger terminal capacities using CAST to evaluate different scenarios for the Operational Readiness & Airport Transfer (ORAT) of the Three-Runway System

• Conduct desktop research and compile research reports

• Participate in ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation, Transportation or related disciplines with at least 1 year of relevant experience

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with good writing, presentation and interpersonal skills

• Experience and knowledge of simulation tools (e.g. CAST) and proficiency in programming (e.g. Python) are advantages

• Knowledge of ICAO and IATA standards and recommended practices is preferred

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
