Job Description

M Capital Management (MCM) is a Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) licensed Venture Capital Fund Manager with a VCC (Variable Capital Corp) umbrella structure managing distinct funds under the brand of M Venture Partners (www.m-venturepartners.com).

The firm is currently hiring an Office & Operations Executive to join its Singapore-based team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in office administration or operations who also possesses a basic accounting background and is keen to broaden their exposure to finance and fund operations over time. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing administrative and operational support to the finance and investment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, facilities, supplies and vendor relationships.

  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, calendars and general administrative support for the team.

  • Assist with invoice processing, expense claims and payment administration.

  • Support bank administration and maintain organised financial and corporate records.

  • Coordinate documentation and information requests with external accountants, auditors and service providers.

  • Assist with investor onboarding documentation and administrative support for capital calls and distributions.

  • Maintain corporate records and assist with regulatory and compliance filings.

  • Provide administrative support to the investment and finance teams as required.

  • Learn and progressively support selected fund operations and finance processes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in office management, executive administration or operations.

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Basic accounting knowledge or bookkeeping experience is preferred.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

  • Willingness to learn fund operations and develop within the venture capital industry.

Key competencies

  • Results-oriented with high prioritization skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver projects in a timely fashion

  • Must use discretion working with confidential and sensitive information regarding the company, executive management, and investors

  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work well in a team structure yet demonstrate independence with tasks assigned
