Role Description

The Ocean Freight Manager will oversee and optimize ocean freight operations, managing both import and export logistics while ensuring compliance with regulations. Daily activities include coordinating shipments, providing exceptional customer service, and liaising with shipping lines, clients, and internal teams. The role involves analyzing and improving processes to enhance service efficiency and manage costs effectively. This is a full-time on-site role based in Taipei.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean freight management, including import and export operations
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Thorough understanding of freight logistics and supply chain processes
• Proven ability to oversee and manage end-to-end shipping operations efficiently
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to international logistics
• Proficient in logistical tools and technology
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience with ocean freight operations in an international setting is advantageous
