Micron Technology is seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineer to join our Technology and Products Group (TPG) in Taiwan. This outstanding opportunity centers on advanced packaging process research, development, and product engineering. You will have a meaningful role in advancing the development, qualification, and manufacturing readiness of nextgeneration memory products. Key Responsibilities
Advanced Packaging Processes
- Develop, optimize, and characterize advanced packaging processes (e.g., advanced interconnects, assembly, and integration technologies).
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to transfer new packaging technologies from R&D to highvolume manufacturing.
- Drive process experiments, DOE, data analysis, and rootcause investigations to improve yield, reliability, and cost.
- Assist with failure analysis and reliability testing connected to advanced packaging technologies.
Product Engineering
- Own product engineering activities across the product lifecycle, from development through qualification and ramp.
- Partner with build, process, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve product and process issues.
- Monitor product performance, yield, and reliability metrics; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support customer qualification, technical reviews, and documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or strong interest in advanced semiconductor packaging, assembly processes, or product engineering.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, and data analysis.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to work in a fastpaced, crossfunctional environment.
- Effective communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with global teams.
Preferred
- Practical experience with sophisticated packaging technologies (e.g., 3D integration, advanced substrates, bumping/interconnects).
- Experience in product yield analysis, reliability engineering, or highvolume manufacturing support.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and DOE methodologies.
- Familiarity with DRAM, HBM, Digital Design, Circuit, Programming(e.g, Python, C/C++, Verilog)
