Key responsibilities

Assist in production planning, cost negotiation, and order follow-up with suppliers.
Liaise with factories and suppliers to monitor production progress and resolve any issues.
Conduct quality inspections at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with company standards.
Handle sample approvals, production timelines, and shipment schedules.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
Manage business travel to production sites in China and the Asia Pacific region as required.

Role requirements

Degree holder in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in apparel manufacturing or trading.
Fluent in spoken and written Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 required).
Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
Well-organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
Sound PC skills (MS Office, Excel, and other relevant software).
Willingness to travel frequently to China and the Asia Pacific region.
