As aMechatronics Engineer, you will play a key role inresearching, developing, and integrating solutionsthat meet clients mission-critical needs. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to design systems that perform reliably in dynamic marine environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintainhigh voltage and low voltage electrical system for manned and unmanned vessels
- Integrate sensors, PLC, actuators, and control systemsto enable real-time decision-making and navigation in marine environments.
- Develop and maintainsoftwarefor maritime operations that meets reliability and safety requirements.
- Work with customers to understand their mission requirements and lead the end-to-end process ofsurveying, sourcing, testing, and integrating solutionsthat align with their operational needs and performance expectations..
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensureseamless system integration.
- Develop and execute test plansin lab and field environments (dockside, sea trials) to validate designs under maritime conditions.
- Provide technical supportremotelyand on-site for delivered systems.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding ofelectrical systems.
- Proficiency inCAD tools(SolidWorks, AutoCAD) andcontrol system software(MATLAB/Simulink).
- Experience inC++ and Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work inmultidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel and participate intechnical supportand sea trials.
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills in Mandarin and English
