Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and project-specific jigs/fixtures to support product development and manufacturing.
Create 3D models of production jig/fixture, ensuring compliance with GD&T and DFM/DFA principles.
Plan and execute mechanical quality validation, including reliability testing (vibration, drop, thermal, fatigue) and result analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ID, EE, manufacturing, quality) to deliver robust product design suggestions and prevent/resolve issues of production assembly.
Manage supplier quality through vendor qualification, audits, issue tracking, and corrective action implementation.
Support prototyping, failure analysis, and continuous improvement to ensure product performance, cost, and manufacturability.
