Responsibilities

  • Lead the mechanical design and engineering of server and storage products from architectural requirement analysis to mass production
  • Co-work with Hardware/Thermal/Layout/SV engineers to create mechanical related and PCBA designs based on the requirements analysis
  • Perform mechanical detail design including 3D/2D, material and process definition, and cable routing in both L10 systems and L11 racks
  • Mechanical part BoM, DFM/DFA review, tooling trial review and PPAP approval
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews and meetings
  • Assist product cost control and cost saving opportunity studies
  • Validate samples, problem solving and build the lessons learnt records
  • Provide mechanical related technical support to project teams and customers

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor's degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Experience in developing of products from architectural requirements to mass products, with rich DOE experience
  • Familiar with Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, etc.
  • Skilled with Windchill and Creo tools
  • Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
  • With documentwritten skillsinboth Chinese English, basic communication skills in English
  • With interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, supplier project teams
