Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design and engineering of server and storage products from architectural requirement analysis to mass production
- Co-work with Hardware/Thermal/Layout/SV engineers to create mechanical related and PCBA designs based on the requirements analysis
- Perform mechanical detail design including 3D/2D, material and process definition, and cable routing in both L10 systems and L11 racks
- Mechanical part BoM, DFM/DFA review, tooling trial review and PPAP approval
- Track projects and progress through regular reviews and meetings
- Assist product cost control and cost saving opportunity studies
- Validate samples, problem solving and build the lessons learnt records
- Provide mechanical related technical support to project teams and customers
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor's degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Experience in developing of products from architectural requirements to mass products, with rich DOE experience
- Familiar with Tolerance Analysis, DFMEA, etc.
- Skilled with Windchill and Creo tools
- Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
- With documentwritten skillsinboth Chinese & English, basic communication skills in English
- With interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, supplier & project teams
