This role is responsible for translating lululemon's retail strategy into actionable labour plans that support an exceptional guest experience in every APAC store. By combining machine learning forecasting, workforce analytic and a deep understanding of store operations, you ensure that labour is allocated efficiently, effectively and in alignment with our business priorities. You partner closely with Retail, FP&A, P&C and Product to bring operational clarity and empower store leaders with the tools and insights they need to succeed.
You are responsible for driving workforce planning and labour optimization across the APAC retail fleet. You willlead an analyst and collaborate across the business to ensure our labour models, forecasts, and tools evolve alongside our guest experience, growth plans and operational realities.
- Lead the development of monthly and quarterly operational labour plans using a mix of excel, cloud-based tools and machine learning-powered forecasting.
- Build and maintain robust workforce planning, labour forecasting, and modelling frameworks to align staffing with guest demand and business priorities.
- Partner cross functionally with stakeholders in Retail Operations, FP&A, P&C and Product to ensure timely and accurate integration of operational changes into labour plans.
- Coach and develop an analyst to continuously improve planning tools, deliver insights and strengthen our planning capabilities.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to store and regional leaders, translating complex analysis into actionable operational strategies.
- Maintain and evolve engineered labour standards and fixed/variable assumptions in alignment with evolving business processes.
- Support long-range labour planning and scenario modelling to inform strategy, budgeting and resource allocation.
- Support the creation of APAC daily store sales plans.
- 5+ years of experience in a data-driven role, ideally within retail, operations or workforce planning.
- Proven success in labour forecasting, workforce modelling, and planning tool development or similar experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to distill insights and influence cross-functional decision.
- Experience leading and coaching direct reports in a high-performance, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, cloud-based analytics and planning tools experience with machine learning or predictive forecasting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to create executive-level reporting and influence stakeholders at all levels.
