The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Carry out leasing, promotion and management of the Authority's properties in accordance with URA's policies and procedures
Supervise main operators and managers of specific properties and projects ensure proper leasing, promotion and place-making
Formulate and implement plans of leasing, place-making and community making initiatives, and innovative technologies in the Authority's projects, properties and places
Maintain a constructive network with different stakeholders and foster their support, in order to generate positive publicity and handle politically sensitive issues
Provide inputs to enhance the hardware and software integration of redevelopment and preservation projects during the planning and design process
Support and supervise execution of Smart City initiatives in the Authority-owned premises
Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor from time to time
Requirements:
Degree holder in Surveying, Property Management, Housing Management, Business or relevant discipline
Minimum 8 years relevant experience in leasing, promotion and facility management of mixed use developments, especially preservation and innovative proj ects with social objectives
Relevant professional qualifications related to leasing and place-making
Thorough knowledge of current property market, leasing, facility management and tenancy law
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
