Manager, Private Asset

This role supports the Director, Private Asset, in the daytoday execution of private investment activities. The position plays a handson role, supporting due diligence, preparing investment analysis, committee paper, and governance materials, maintaining deployment pipelines and trackers, and assisting with deployment planning. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to support governance, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness, as well as assisting with ongoing portfolio monitoring. The role also supports maintenance of data, tracking of approved guardrails, and support for deployment activities.

Job Descriptions:

• Conduct research and analysis for privateasset opportunities, assist with investment search activities, maintain and update deployment pipelines and trackers, and support duediligence workstreams across privateasset strategies to facilitate timely and disciplined deployment.
• Support daytoday implementation of the privateasset platform and framework, including assisting with portfolio construction analysis, deployment planning, investment structuring documentation, and improving the efficiency and execution of deployment activities.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and postinvestment activities, including compiling performance information, maintaining data, tracking compliance status and approved guardrails, and assisting with routine riskoversight processes across private assets.
• Assist in tracking and executing approved conditions and deployment prerequisites such as maintaining condition trackers, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure conditions are met across each deployment stage.
• Support delivery of assigned privateasset initiatives and projects such as system onboarding activities, documentation and reporting enhancements, coordination of deployment activities, improve operational readiness and reduce bottlenecks.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Finance or related discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant investment experience, private and alternative space.

• Self-driven, open minded, and fast learner.

• Team player and strong stakeholder management skills.

• Good communication skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

• Project management skills with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Experience in private and alternative assets such as strategy development, deployment planning and risk management is an advantage.

• ESG/responsible investment experience is a plus.
